Abstract: The active power and reactive power of stator of doublyfed wind power generator is controlled by the rotor voltage control. The relation between the rotor power characteristics and the converter capacity design was analyzed. The equivalent circuit of the doublyfed power generator was deduced. The power distribution relation of the stator and rotor of the generator was calculated by the equivalent circuit. Using the Matlab software, the rotor current and voltage variation characteristics of the doublyfed generator and the power distribution relation of the generator stator and rotor under different conditions were simulated and verified. According to practical example analysis, the design method of the main circuit hardware of the doublyfed converter was proposed.
