Abstract: Abstract:The present flow adjusting method is mostly throttling, and due to the output power of the motor can not be adjusted in large range, there is large energy dissipation in this method. The variable frequency reformation of the auxiliary machines is one of main means of power plants to save energy and reduce consumption. The AC variable frequency speed control technology is acknowledged as a most valuable speed control and power consumption reducing technology due to its excellent speed control function and remarkable energysaving effect. Combing with the application of the variable frequency speed control technology in condensate pump of 2×150MW unit of the Panzhihua Branch of Huadian Sichuan Power Generation Company Limited and the analysis on obtained energysaving effect, the function of the variable frequency speed control technology in energysaving and consumption reducing of thermal power enterprises was expounded further.
