    The Important Way for Energy Saving of Fan and Pump

    The correct selection and use of fan and pump are the important prerequisite for raising their efficiency. Taking fan as the example the similar operation relations of fan and pump are explained, the essential conditions which must be satisfied for similarity of fan and pump were proposed, and the inevitable results of the similarity were given. The variable frequency speed regulation has become the first scheme to be selected. According to the similarity law of fan and pump, in the process of reducing speed, the efficiency of the fan and pump will be kept at the same value, and its flow rate, pressure(or delivery head) and power are reduced in proportion to speed, speed square and speed cube respectively.

    The quantity of make-up hydrogen is an important operation index of generator unit, too large quantity of hydrogen often appears in the double-ring oil sealing generator .By the analysis of the oil sealing system and the sealing bush construction, the problems and hidden troubles existing in system design and operation were treated and regulated, the speed of hydrogen purity lowering was controlled, the hydrogen exchange quantity of generator and the hydrogen consumption were reduced, so the purpose of energy-saving and consumption-reducing was achieved at last.

    The 1000 MW ultra-supercritical boiler of Zouxian Power Plant is one of the first localized demonstration projects for imported technology of 1000 MW units, there was no ready-made mode for reference in equipment- type selection. Combining the unit operation, the analysis on the unit capacity, coal grade, combustion mode and heating surface material were done, and several main problems needing attention in boiler equipments type selection were put forward in this article.

    Take welding and heat treatment of the P92 steel of main steam pipe in Huaneng Yuhuan Power Plant as the example, the solutions of technical problems in novel material welding were introduced. Aiming at the problems existing in welding and heat treatment field in China, some effective measures were employed to control the installation quality. It is expected that the measures mentioned in this paper can be used as reference for welding quality control in construction of other ultra-supercritical units.

    This paper briefly describes the theory and pricing methods of Pool Purchase Price (PPP) mainly adopted, and summaries China PPP management mechanism reform since 1985. The detailed analysis on China′s current PPP mechanism, combined with theory and practical situation, was made, and finally given the conclusions as following: The current unique system electricity price mechanism is not suitable for the dispatching requirements of energy saving, while double-part electricity price mechanism with certain assistance service compensations has more advantages.

    The higher requirements of relay protection for large generator unit have been put forward along with the increment of unit capacity. In this paper the requirements for 1000MW unit relay protection, especially for the generator stator ground protection, were expounded, the conventional stator ground protection of external source injection mode was introduced, and the deficiencies in its application were analyzed. A complete microcomputer protection scheme of stator ground fault based on the balance principle was proposed as an improvement of above protection mode. In the scheme, the influence to protection of external source fault, PT leader breakdown, system harmonic etc. were considered, so the protection device can distinguish reliably the generator stator ground failure.

    Aiming at the serious clinkering problem of #11 boiler in Dafang Generation Co., Ltd., the concrete reasons of boiler clinkering were analyzed systematically combining with the features of the boiler equipments, system and operation. Based on a large number of experiments, analyzing and summarizing, a series of feasible measures for solving the problem of boiler clinkering were proposed, and after adopting those measures in practice the problem of boiler clinkering has been controlled basically.

    The main pipe system is adopted in circulating water system by Mawan General Power Plant. In summer it can satisfy the requirement for the circulating water of two units with full load when three water circulating pumps operate, and it makes obvious economic benefit. In this paper its regulation process was introduced, and the economic benefit getting from adoption of the regulation was analyzed, the conclusions which the operation mode is economic and feasible were obtained.

    The low oil pressure of the main equipment lubricating oil system in Wangting Power Plant during start up and operation was introduced. Aiming this problem, the reformation of the main equipment lubricating oil system was carried out, and the reformation process was described in this paper. The problem of low lubricating oil pressure in the same type unit can be solved using the same measures.

    The booster fan is important device for performance and reliability of desulfurization system, its type selection has greater influence on the overall cost and performance optimization of desulfurization system. The economic and technical comparison between axial-fan with adjustable moving vanes and axial-fan with adjustable static vanes were given from the aspects of performance parameters, power consumption, maintenance and cost. The conclusion of this research can be used as a reference for booster fan selection of FGD engineering.

    The reverse osmosis membrane is applied widely in pure water production process due to its excellent performance of steady production, low operation cost, non-pollution to environment etc. The reverse osmosis membrane may be polluted itself by suspended particles and indissoluble matters in normal operation, and this will lower the performance of reverse osmosis membrane, therefore cleaning membrane is very important. By analyzing the membrane pollution of reverse osmosis system in Huadian International Co., Ltd., Shiliquan Power Plant, a set of feasible membrane cleaning technology , including the prescription and process, was developed, which may offer the same pure water production process as a reference.

    This article simulated and analyzed the behavior of wind-mill generator aerofoil in the wind field by using of the physics environment method in the fluid- solid coupling module of the large finite element analysis software-ANSYS, and a calculation method on cL/cD of the airfoil was found through many attempts and selection, the method can give a result which relatively approaches the real value.
