Countermeasures for preventing oxide skin dropping from hightemperature heating surface in 630 MW supercritical boiler

Abstract: The reasons and the process of the pipe crack accident of 2×630 MW supercritical unit boiler in Huadian Guigang Power Generation Corporation Limited, which is led by the oxide skin dropping from the hightemperature heating surface, were analyzed, and the relevant treatment methods were proposed. It was shown by the practice that the treatment effects are obvious, and safe operation of the unit was ensured.
