Abstract: According to the information provided by the weather station of the area, in which a wind power plant locates, the essential factors of the wind energy were analyzed and neatened，and the revised data of the wind speed, the wind power density, the frequency of wind speed, the frequency of wind energy in the wind measuring tower were obtained. The analysis results show that the area is rich in wind energy resource, its number of hours of effective winds is larger, its wind direction is stable, the wind energy distribution is centralized, and the destructive wind speed is smaller, so the area is suitable to build the wind power plant.
