Abstract: Power Generation Company Limited, Huangshi 435002, China)In recent years, it was frequently found that the mass fraction of sulfur in the fuel coal of many power plants exceeded the design value. In Hubei Huadian Huangshi Power Generation Company Limited, an experiment of adding synergistic agent into the desulphurization facilities had been done, and the result shows that after the synergistic agent was added, the operation of the desulphurization facilities is safe and stable, the desulphurization efficiency is enhanced obviously, and the emission of the flue gas satisfies relevant standard. In addition, one or two slurry circulating pumps can be stopped in system operation, which brings better energysaving result.
