Influence of air fan 88VG on vibration of bearing No.3 of S109FA unit

Abstract

Abstract: The problem of bearing No.3 vibration in the S109FA unit manufactured by GE existed generally in operation of the domestic power plants. The features of the bearing No.3 vibration in operation of the S109FA unit in Jiangsu Huadian Qishuyan Power Generation Company Limited were analyzed. According to the analysis, a conclusion was reached that under certain conditions, the alternation of air fans 88VG may cause unstable vibration of the bearing No.3，and it is expected that the result is helpful for solving the problem of the bearing No.3 vibration.
