Analysis on energysaving effect of variable frequency technology for draught fans of thermal power plants and operational measures

Abstract

Abstract: Using the variable frequency technology, the driving systems of the draught fans of two 150MW CFB boilers in Panzhihua Branch of Huadian Sichuan Power Generation Corporation Limited were reformed. Based on comparative analysis on the energy consumption indexes of the fans before and after the reformation, the technical measures of energysaving reformation were put forward. So the service power consumption rate was reduced effectively, and the economic benefit was improved.
