Abstract:The low voltage ridethrough becomes a bottleneck to restrict DFIG to connect into grid in large scale. The mathematic model of DFIG was established. The influence of grid voltage rapid dip on DFIG was analyzed. An improvement method was proposed, in which the DC side capacitor of DFIG is connected directly with a solar power station by bidirection parallelconnected diodes. The LVRT capability of DFIG can be enhanced by the method, and the stability of the grid voltage will be improved. The simulation result shows that the expected target can be realized using the method.
