Abstract:

Intelligent substation localization requires uniformed interface. By integrated design, functions of multiple cards were integrated into a single chip. This required more powerful calculating ability. The process chip based on ARM structure is low power consumption and fast speed, which satisfied the requirement of localized devices. This paper introduced the ARM chip to realize the design and application of localized relay protection device. Based on the IEC 61850 modeling method, a simulation and test system was developed to test the functions and performance of localized devices.
