A novel algorithm of SVPWM without sectors deciding and its simulation study

Abstract: A novel algorithm of SVPWM was proposed according to the analysis of SVPWM essence. The algorithm obtains the vector action time by calculation directly without complex coordination transformation and sectors deciding. Compared with traditional SVPWM algorithm, the new algorithm can reduce calculating amount obviously, and this is useful for digital programming. The calculating formulas of new algorithm were derived, and the simulation study was accomplished under the Matlab/Simulink environment. The result of simulation proves that the new algorithm is correct and effective.
