Abstract: In order to realize the beginning of the biomass energy project in Shanghai, the Shanghai Branch of China Huadian Corporation plans to construct the agricultural wastes comprehensive processing and use center in the Chongming Country of Shanghai and to construct a biogas power generation project by use of the straw and the livestock excrement. The biomass energy resources of the Chongming Country and utilization situation were analyzed. The process flow of biogas preparation, the centralized biogas supply and the power generation was introduced, and the design schemes of various systems were described. After the completion of the project, the biological resources will be utilized effectively, and the environmental quality will be improved.
