    Architecture and key strategy of online state assessment system for substation auxiliary power supply system

    Auxiliary power supply system of a substation is important to the station's safe and reliable operation.The system is mainly composed of AC power supply system,DC power supply system and AC uninterruptible power supply system.To effectively evaluate the operation states of AC and DC power supply systems,an online state assessment system for substation auxiliary power supply system is proposed which works with the collaboration of the main system and the subsystem.After introducing the main functions and components of the main and sub-systems,the assessing process and the criteria for assessing the AC power supply equipment,inverter power equipment,DC/DC communication power supply equipment and DC power supply equipment are expounded.According to its application situation in a substation,the assessment system is proven to be effective in keep the safe and reliable operation of auxiliary power supply system in substation.It is of engineering application value.

    Prevention and Control of Boiler ‘Four Pipe’ Leakage

    unplanned outage is one of important benchmarking content, and boiler ‘four pipe’ leakage is the main reason caused unplanned outage in thermal power plant at long time, which influences safety and stable operation of generation equipments seriously. In the 670t/h boiler of Tianjin Junliangcheng Power Generation Corporation Limited, the heating surface was arranged unreasonably, heating surface leakage was occurred frequently. Aiming at this problem, a special anti-explosion team was established, the boiler heating surface was supervised and checked during the boiler production, erection and operation. By continuous groping and improvement, a set of effective anti-abrasion, anti-explosion experiences were summarized. The application of these experiences reduces the leakage greatly, and unplanned outage was no occurred in 2006 and 2007.

Some measures for decreasing the auxiliary power consumption rate were put forward, which can be used as reference for thermal power plants to decrease own auxiliary power consumption rate.

    This article simulated and analyzed the behavior of wind-mill generator aerofoil in the wind field by using of the physics environment method in the fluid- solid coupling module of the large finite element analysis software-ANSYS, and a calculation method on cL/cD of the airfoil was found through many attempts and selection, the method can give a result which relatively approaches the real value.

The actuation of normal generator protection device under the case of main generator beaker accidental closing was analyzed, the status of gas turbine generator, which is running at daytime and stopping at night, was discussed also.

    The Important Way for Energy Saving of Fan and Pump

    The correct selection and use of fan and pump are the important prerequisite for raising their efficiency. Taking fan as the example the similar operation relations of fan and pump are explained, the essential conditions which must be satisfied for similarity of fan and pump were proposed, and the inevitable results of the similarity were given. The variable frequency speed regulation has become the first scheme to be selected. According to the similarity law of fan and pump, in the process of reducing speed, the efficiency of the fan and pump will be kept at the same value, and its flow rate, pressure(or delivery head) and power are reduced in proportion to speed, speed square and speed cube respectively.

    In the Huadian International Zouxian Power Plant, a benchmarking management long-effective work mechanism of‘Comparing with advanced, checking error and correcting malpractice, continually improving, uninterrupted exceeding’ was established, and adequate attention was paid to the energy-saving and consumption-reducing work. According to the actual operation of two 1000 MW units, the concrete methods and measures for energy saving and consumption reduction were analyzed and introduced. Under the rated condition, the standard net coal consumptions of units No.7 and No.8 are 282.28 g/(kW•h)and 281.91g/(kW•h),heat consumption rates are 7330.94kJ/(kW•h) and 7345.4kJ/(kW•h) respectively. Since the units were brought into production, their house service consumption rates achieve 5.22% and 5.29% respectively, and the design requirement was satisfied.

    The quantity of make-up hydrogen is an important operation index of generator unit, too large quantity of hydrogen often appears in the double-ring oil sealing generator .By the analysis of the oil sealing system and the sealing bush construction, the problems and hidden troubles existing in system design and operation were treated and regulated, the speed of hydrogen purity lowering was controlled, the hydrogen exchange quantity of generator and the hydrogen consumption were reduced, so the purpose of energy-saving and consumption-reducing was achieved at last.

    Aiming at the serious clinkering problem of #11 boiler in Dafang Generation Co., Ltd., the concrete reasons of boiler clinkering were analyzed systematically combining with the features of the boiler equipments, system and operation. Based on a large number of experiments, analyzing and summarizing, a series of feasible measures for solving the problem of boiler clinkering were proposed, and after adopting those measures in practice the problem of boiler clinkering has been controlled basically.

    Based on the heat balance diagram of 600MW unit, the key data points in rated condition were analyzed, and relevant thermal efficiency data can be obtained by calculating according to the key data points. The coal consumption rate and unit thermal efficiency will vary with the variation of the field operation parameters. Therefore, it is can find that in which respects the unit need adjustment or reformation by analysis of key points data variation, and the key link for decrease the coal consumption rate of power plant can be grabbed. The emphasis of this paper is analysis of coal consumption data of steam turbine thermal power system, the coal consumption rate in this paper was obtained by heat balance calculation according to the relevant data of heat balance diagram.

    Take welding and heat treatment of the P92 steel of main steam pipe in Huaneng Yuhuan Power Plant as the example, the solutions of technical problems in novel material welding were introduced. Aiming at the problems existing in welding and heat treatment field in China, some effective measures were employed to control the installation quality. It is expected that the measures mentioned in this paper can be used as reference for welding quality control in construction of other ultra-supercritical units.

    Four schemes of steam discharge into air cooling system were planned according to the different nameplate output definition for 1000MW unit. The process flow of direct air cooling system was described. The heat-transfer area of air cooling condenser (ACC), the number of fans and duct rows, the diameter of discharge ducts and the height of the ACC platform for each scheme were determined by detailed calculation and analysis. The result can be used as reference for the construction of air cooling system in 1000MW unit.

    The water resource utilization and water business management situation of thermal power plants in China Huadian Co. Ltd. were described. The water resource developing and utilization, the water saving technique and the improving measures were discussed with comparison of water consumption index of thermal power plants in domestic and abroad. The influences of restriction of construction of thermal power plants by the environment protection policy and the scarcity of water resource were expounded, and some suggestions given in this paper are as following: taking the urban sewage re-using and seawater desalination as the future important water resource, drawing up the strategy of water resource reserve scientifically according to the general distribution of power plant sites and its development of whole group.

    Along with the gradual shortage of water resource, more close attention will be paid to the high concentration ratio circulating water treatment technology.
    The processes of scale inhibitor selection experiment, scale inhibitor density selection experiment and dynamic simulation experiment in the circulating water treatment system of Huadian Power International Shiliquan Power Plant were described in detail, and the concrete outlet temperature of circulating water and allowed control index were obtained. The considerable water-Saving effect can be obtained by increasing the concentration ratio to 4~5 times.

    The application of tiny-oil ignition combustion technology in the pressurized, direct firing, lean coal fired, 1036 t/h boiler was presented. By the actual example analysis of the Unit No.6 of Yangzhou Generation Corporation Limited, it was proved that the application of the tiny-oil ignition technology in similar boiler is feasible, and the oil consumption can be reduced considerably.
