Abstract: The risk of EPC general contract project of hydropower station and the risk control strategy were discoursed, and it was pointed out that the risk of EPC general contract project of hydropower station and the profits are existed at same time. If the general contractor can analyze these risks and prevent them earnestly, the project will bring huge profits for the enterprise; if the general contractor is not enough for the knowledge of the risks or he do not adopt correct prevention measures, the project also possibly brings larger economical losses. Especially, the PEC project of foreign hydropower station must be treated with more care due to many uncontrollable factors.
