Application of DeviceNet in stackerreclaimer in rounded stock yard

Abstract

Abstract: To apply the DeviceNet bus in stackerreclaimer in rounded stock yard, which is used gradually widely, can decrease the cable cost, improve the communication between the equipments and provide devicelevel diagnosis function to find and solve the faults timely and to ensure the production continuity. Taking the DeviceNet bus used in the stackerreclaimer in round stock yard of a power plant as example, the system design and application of the bus were introduced. Normal operation of the stackerreclaimer in rounded stock yard in the power plant for two years shows that the bus is stable and intelligent character, and it is worthy of more wide application in rounded stackerreclaimer projects.
