Abstract

Abstract:

In the operational process of gas insulated switch (GIS), there may be low voltage alarm due to the decrease of SF6 gas pressure in GIS which is caused by the aging of the sealing element and the stress test. During the supplementation of the SF6 gas, the air will enter the GIS and its pipes, and the excessive SF6 gas will be directly discharged into the atmosphere. Taking practical projects into consideration, a new gas supplementation device is designed which solves the problem above well. Finally, the treatment method on decomposition of SF6 gas is summarized.
