Abstract: The problems existed in original installation method of temperature measuring element on inner cylinder wall of the steam turbine body of Guizhou Dafang Power Generation Company Limited were analyzed. The installation method of the temperature measuring element on cylinder wall and the principle of optimization were expounded. The improved installation method of the temperature measuring element on inner cylinder wall of the steam turbine body used in overhaul process of the turbine and its advantages were introduced, and the matters needing attention in optimization process was emphasized especially. The practice results show that after the installation method of temperature measuring element on inner cylinder wall of steam turbine body was optimized, favorable effects were obtained, which provides a reference for other power plants in optimization of the installation method of temperature measuring element on inner cylinder wall of steam turbine body.
