Abstract:

With the construction of ultrahigh voltage(UHV) transmission line, the maintenance workload of transmission towers become heavier， which proposes a higher requirements on the tower climbing equipment. Accordingly, mechanical analysis should be performed on the lightweighted and modular design of existing equipment. It shows that its performance and security meet the design requirements. The equipment can be used on tower climbing maintenance work of UHV lines and other transmission towers’ maintenance. Its favored portability and performance can improve the efficiency and security in maintenance working and reduce the labor intensity.
