    The operation state of the combustion system and the reasons of occurred problems before the combustion system reformation were analyzed. Aiming at the situation of the coal market, which supplies much inferior coal and much coal kinds, the combustion system of the boiler was reformed, and better effects were obtained. The target, which is to fire the blending much inferior coal and there is not serious coking to form on the water wall and the platen superheater heating surface of the boiler, was realized. The safe and stable operation of the combustion system was ensured, and the overall economic performance of the boiler was improved.

    During running period of a 600MW supercritical unit, the temperature of output water of the HP heater was much higher than the designed value. The problem was analyzed from the operation system and the measuring circuit, and it was found that the reason of the higher temperature was that the temperature sensing element is not matched with the compensating wire in the measuring circuit, and the measured temperature value was incorrect. The temperature sensing element had been replaced, and the measured temperature became correct.

    here was inner leakage fault in stator coil of the 600MW hydrogencooled generator of Huadian International Zouxian Power Plant. By finding, it was confirmed that the leakage point is located in upper winding bar of slot No.31. The process of replacing the failed winding bar was described. The defect of water leakage of stator coil was eliminated successfully, which provides reference for treatment of similar faults.

    TThe phenomenon of shedshaped coal caking in raw coal bunker of Huadian Energy Mudanjiang Second Power Plant aggravates gradually for past few years. Aiming at this problem, the measures to solve the shedshaped coal caking in raw coal bunker in north cold area at winter were put forward. The material level sensors were redesigned and arranged to make them can monitor the material level in the coal bunker more accurately and to realize automatic alarm of high material level. The hydraulic control system and the coal loosening device were designed to make them can eliminate the shedshaped coal caking in the coal bunker dynamically at summer and suppress the frozen coal on the raw coal bunker wall at winter. The hightemperature and highpressure steam was used to cut the frozen coal, which can avoid the frozen coal to form large agglomerate. The PLC automatic control system was designed, by which the system can find and solve the problems itself automatically. So the safe and economic operation of the boiler was ensured.

    Taking the variable frequency reformation of induced draft fans of units No.1 and No.3 in Guizhou Dafang Power Generation Company Limited as examples, the optimization of the thermal control logic for variable frequency reformation of induced draft fan was introduced. For the switchover onto 50Hz power supply from converter fault, a set of automatic bypass control logic was designed. The hot state test and the operation effect show that the designed control logic can control the furnace pressure well during state switchover process.

The influence of inferior coal component on boiler combustion was analyzed. Starting from the angle of reducing the fly ash content of combustion of inferior coal with low volatile content and low calorific value, the feasibility to reduce the fly ash content of inferior coal combustion in unit was discussed in depth.     The reasons of the generator fault were introduced. It was expounded that in fault treatment process, the dynamic balance test of the generator must be carried out on the scene only, and in order to reduce the urgent repair time, it was decided to start the generator with pressed air cooling instead of hydrogen cooling and to carry out the dynamic balance test further, which is a method never adopted for the generator of 9F unit in our country. The practical result shows that the temperature of each part of the generator is normal, and the indexes are all in the standard range, and this means that the air cooling startup of generator 390H was successful; and better effect was obtained.
