Abstract: The method to calculate the dew point of generator under its operation hydrogen pressure by using its offline dew point data was introduced. The formula was established in the software Excel table. The calculation result can be displayed in the table as soon as the data was input into the table. The repeatedly table lookup and calculating processes, which is recommended in the file DL/T 651—1998 “ Requirements for hydrogen humidity of generators using hydrogen as a coolant ”appendix A, can be avoided. The calculation scope can be extended to calculate the absolute humidity and the relative humidity of the hydrogen; and the result can be optimized into monthly report, which is convenient for statistics.

