Optimized operation of belt dewatering system

Abstract: In the limestonegypsum wet FGD system of the 300MW unit of Hubei Huadian Huangshi Power Generation Company Limited, the experiment of operation frequency of the vacuum belt dewaterer had been carried out; and the influences of the operation parameters of the belt dewaterer on the energy consumption, the vacuum and the water content of the gypsum were obtained. According to the research results, ensuring that the water content of gypsum can satisfy the requirement of relevant standard, the operation parameters of the dewatering system were adjusted, so the energy consumption of the dewatering system reduced to minimum.
