Abstract:
The influence of the unit capacity, the unit load and the sulfur content in fired coal on the service power consumption rate of the limestone
gypsum FGD system was analyzed; and it was obtained that the main reasons of the higher service power consumption rate of the FGD system are the higher
sulfur content in fired coal, the higher soot concentration in the inlet of FGD system, the equipment blockage, the scaling and others. In order to reduce
the service power consumption rate of the FGD system, some optimization measures, such as to regulate the desulphurization operation mode, to adopt powerful
maintenance measures, to insure the precision of the instruments and so on, were proposed and adopted, which lays a foundation for normal, stable and energysaving operation of the FGD system.
