Abstract: Abstract:There were problems in the doubleended ball mill of Shanxi Huadian Pucheng Power Generation Company Limited. The problems existed in many aspects of the mill, which include the lining board, the separator, the clapper, the material quality and metal content ratio of the ball, the primary hot air passage system, the oil injection device of the large gear wheel, the sealing air fan of large gear wheel cover and others. Aiming at above problems, the mill system was reformed, and its performance was optimized. The large boiler slag content reduced from 17% to 5%～ 7%, and the content of combustibles in fly ash reduced from 6% to about 3%. The safety and economic efficiency of the unit were improved.
