    Abstract:Once, an abnormal condition of 110V DC control power source caused the switch of the standby power source of PC bus of emergency power supply to trip. The reason of the bus voltage failure was analyzed, and it was found that there are many problems in the system design and device selection of the system. The solution was put forward, and the problem, which is that the DC power supply failure causes the switch in lower level to trip incorrectly, was solved thoroughly.

    Abstract:In the 6kV ungrounded system of the water source area of Huadian International Zouxian Power Plant project phase III, when the power supply was switched on after protection overhaul, the voltage transformer gave out a zero sequence over voltage alarm signal, and the each phasetoground capacitors of the 6kV ungrounded system were not balanced. The reasons of the fault were analyzed. The effective measures were adopted, and the problem was solved.

    Abstract:The 750kV·A large capacity power electronic module was introduced. The calculation method of power dissipation of the insulated gate bipolar transistor (IGBT) was expounded. A new type water cooling heat sink was designed, and the simulation optimization of the heat sink was carried out by thermal analyzing software system Qfin. The optimal inlet water flow of the water cooling heat sink was selected and verified practically by test platform. The test result shows that the performance of the heat sink can meet the design requirements.

    Abstract:Combining with practical situation of the 350MW boiler soot blower of Huadian Tengzhou Xinyuan Thermal Power Company Limited, the reasons of the faults of power plant boiler soot blower were analyzed. An online fault monitoring system of boiler soot blower was developed, and the online soot blower fault monitoring and alarm were realized. The online fault monitoring system of boiler soot blower can prompt the operators and the maintainers to eliminate the fault of the soot blower timely.

    Abstract:Taking the final assembly clearance control of the steam seal of the turbine in AP1000 nuclear power unit as example, the characteristics of the laser clearance measurement method and the characteristics of the conventional clearance measurement method were analyzed, and the advantages and disadvantages of the two methods were compared. The laser clearance measurement method was adopted for measuring, and the conventional clearance measurement method was adopted for verifying. So the rationality of the final assembly clearance of steam seal was ensured.

    Abstract:Due to that there is harmonic in power grid, the harmonic amplification may occur in parallel compensation capacitor of substation under certain operation mode. According to the configuration of the capacitor for the third main transformer of 500kV Yandu substation, the general process of parallel compensation capacitor design was proposed. Depending on the rational selection of the series reactance rate, the harmonic amplification in capacitor branch can be avoided, and it can be ensured that the overvoltage and the surge excitation current on the capacitor to be limited in permissible range. The allowed grouping switch mode of the capacitors in the substation with different series reactance rate was discussed too in this paper.

    Abstract:The source injection type stator grounded fault protection in the protection cabinet A, B of Generator No.5 in Goupitan Hydropower Plant tripped, and this caused active load of the plant 527.6MW to be shed. The Bphase outlet potential transformer of the generator No.5 had been disassembled and tested, and it was found out that the main reason of load shedding of the 600MW generator is the damage of the potential transformer. The relevant countermeasures were proposed, which laid a solid foundation for the fault treatment.

    Abstract:The incorrect tripping problem of REG670 rotator grounding protection of 600MW unit in Huadian International Zouxian Power Plant was analyzed. It was excluded that the incorrect tripping may be caused by harmonic, and the actual reason of incorrect tripping was found, which is that the rated value of the analog current channel of REG670 for rotator grounding protection is selected to be 5A. The solving methods of the incorrect tripping of REG670 rotator grounding protection were proposed.

    Abstract:Taking the 2×350MW unit of Hejin Power Generation Branch of Shanxi Zhangze Power Company Limited as example, the application of domestic highvoltage variable frequency speed control system in condensate pump was introduced. The economic efficiencies of the unit before and after reformation were compared and analyzed. The conclusion is that the energysaving reformation based on highvoltage variable frequency speed control technology is feasible, and the economic benefit of the reformation is remarkable.

    Abstract:In order to avoid the deformation or collapse of the towers in transmission line caused by unbalanced longitudinal tension above allowable value, it is required that when the grip strength of the suspension clamp on the wire reach certain value, the clamp can loose the wire automatically. According to the requirement of the minimum grip strength and the maximum grip strength of the suspension clamp, a limited grip strength suspension clamp was designed. The technical and environmental factors influencing on the suspension clamp were expounded, and the application of the limited grip strength suspension clamp was analyzed.

    Abstract:When the domestic power generation groups invest in oversea power plant construction, the heat rate negotiation is an important part of the power purchase agreement (PPA), and it will influence on the investment income directly. The process flow and the key points of PPA negotiation were introduced. It was pointed out that the fluctuation of the coal price, the higher calorific value of the coal and the actual coal consumption are the factors influencing on the fuel payment, and the heat rate and the coal consumption will influence on the unit yield. According to the analysis on the typical working condition and the balance point, the counteractions of the heat rate and the coal consumption to the fuel payment were revealed further. The advantages and disadvantages of the heat rate and the fuel payment clauses in contracts of power plant B and power plant C in Indonesia were compared, and the control measures of the process key points of the design, the supervision of manufacturing, the construction and the commissioning were put forward, which provide reference for domestic power generation groups to invest in oversea power plant construction.

    Abstract:The influence of addition of different organic acid on dissolution rate of limestone was analyzed. To add four kinds of organic acid can increase dissolution rate of the limestone. The influence of adding the four kinds of organic acid on the pH value of the limestone slurry was measured. The measurement result shows that the organic acid can stabilize the pH value of the limestone slurry.

    Abstract:The characteristics of JTECH streamer corona ammonia desulphurization technology were introduced. The mechanism, principle and process flow of JTECH streamer corona ammonia desulphurization technology were expounded. The practical application result shows that the desulphurization efficiency of this technology is greater than 98%, the ammonium sulfite oxidation ratio is greater than 98%, the ammonia mass concentration in outlet is lower than 8mg/m3, and there is not entrapped ammonium salt in the output flue gas. The problems of the conventional ammonia desulphurization, which include the entrapped water and ammonium sulfate and aerosol emission exceeding standard, were solved thoroughly by application of this technology in power industry.
