    Prediction for the probabilistic distribution parameters of wind speed based on Grey Model

    On the premise that two parameters of wind speed subject to the Weibull distribution, based on Grey Verhulst Model, a method which is used to predict wind speed distribution parameters is proposed .Firstly, historical wind speed data was measured and fitted monthly. The average wind speed and standard deviation were substituted into the Weibull distribution equation to calculate the annual distribution parameters and the calculated prediction data are tested and analyzed. Then, the prediction data are substituted into Grey Verhulst Model for comparison and analysis. Finally, the wind speed distribution parameters of future years are predicted based on the historical regularity. Numerical results indicate that the Grey Verhulst Model can calculate highly accurate distribution parameters within fewer historical data.  This model can provide certain theoretical basis for the wind farm resource assessment.

    It explored the regulating characteristics of baffle plate to pulverized coal flow in primary air pipe. By adjusting the baffle plate, the deviation of pulverized coal flow decreased and uniformity of pulverized coal flow was optimized. The temperature of furnace center reduced nearly 40 degrees Celsius, the temperature deviation in the middle region of economizer outlet reduced 10.67 degrees Celsius, the oxygen deviation at economizer outlet reduced 1.16%, the emissions of NOx reduced 16.79μL/L. All burners was running smoothly and over temperature problem on reheater tube was solved. It showed that uniformity optimization of pulverized coal flow was good for reducing deviation of flame, furnace heat load and steam temperature and possibility of high temperature corrosion and cracking accidents. Reducing temperature at furnace center and stable combustion made reasonable air supply and stable combustion along the furnace width will make the cooperation of wind and powder more reasonable, which can reduce NOx generation and improves the combustion condition of the furnace (especially in the middle of the furnace)

    Through establishing icing thickness mechanical models for overhead transmission lines, the formula for calculating the ice thickness of lines and wire sag is derived. Using the formula, thickness of the ice coating of ±800kV Fufeng line in Hunan region was calculated. Comparing the calculating results with field test results, the calculation error was 9.02%. The model can be used to predict the thickness of wire ice coating in advance, and provides a preliminary warning for icing protection.

    It is recommended by a standards of electric power that BS-I pitot tube is a measuring device that can be directly used in gas velocity in pulverized coal pipes. The correction of measuring based on the mass concentration of coal powders is not required and it is not easy to deposit ash. Insitu test on the BS-I pitot tube indicated that the measurement performance and accuracy are in line with expectations. Numerical computations with CFD were then conducted to investigate the BS-I pitot tube’s characters and the effect of relative attitude (rotation, inclination) and the degree of main pressure pipe to the velocity coefficient under measurement. The results showed that the measuring accuracy of BS-I pitot tube was insensitive to these factors.

    Since the coalfired power plant adopts wet desulphurization, reinforced concrete single tube chimney has to be used in new projects. To keep this simple and economic chimney available in electric industry, some anticorrosion optimizing measures for chimney structure are proposed after numerous researches were taken on domestic coalfired power plant in current condition and chemical analysis of the flue gas condensation acid was made: using the impermeable concrete cylinder body, sticking two layers of cloth and five glue painting in the lining tube body as seepage prevention and anticorrosion insulation, lining with belt tongueandgroove hydrophobic acidproof brick, closing to the building form of isolation layer. The 210m chimney of Shanxi Guojin Coal Power Company Limited took this measure which is acid resistant and corrosion resistant, and economically applicable. There is no seepage after 3years operation.

    It introduced the first application of the high voltage converter that independent researched used in feed water pump system in Huadian Group. It included the main principle of high voltage converter and the frequency conversion renovation scheme of feed water pump .By timing the adjusting time of transmit pipe and calculate the drum water level time, a standby pump scheme is adopted after determining the failure of high voltage inverte.     The structure of the desulphurization tower with a temporary chimney on the top is modeled by the finite element program ANSYS. The structure and load combination are simulated according to the actual situation and the stress and deformation characteristics of the structure under various loading conditions are analyzed. The results show that placing temporary chimney on the top of desulfurization tower is feasible. With finite element program, the stress of the structure can be clearly figured out. According to the results of finite element analysis, reasonable tower wall thickness and internal rod crosssection can be selected and reasonable structural measures are taken to address the vulnerable points, which can achieve design optimization.

    In response to national policies energy conservation and emissions reduction, to meet the demand of civil heating supply modification,2×135MW steam turbine were taken into heatandpower cogeneration transformation. The extraction condensate heating unit was changed into back pressure unit, a new unicom exhaust pipes will consolidate and lead the gas from the 2 upper roads to DN1200mm steam supply line, at the same time extract 5t/h steam ,which after temperature and pressure reduction, will be cooled in the low pressure cylinder. Compared the parameters and main economic indicators before and after modification, the project can save about 9.4kt of standard coal every year, which reduce the consumption of coal and smoke in the region.

    Taking a dust emission reduction transformation of 2×200MW coalfired units in Xinjiang region as an example, it make a comparison with wet ESP technology and efficient desulfurization dust removal technology. Both of all can make the outlet dust emission concentration lower than the requirement, 5mg/m3(the state, dry basis, 6% O2): wet ESP technology can be more adaptable to wide variety of flue gas load, but investment and operation and maintenance costs were higher than efficient desulfurization dust removal technology; while efficient desulfurization dust removal technology possesses a lower investment and lower running cost.
