    Review on solar thermal power generation technologies and their development

    Under the "dual carbon" target, new energy ushers in a leapfrog development,which makes an higher requirement for power system flexibility. The regulation capacity of concentrating solar power (CSP)plants can rival that of conventional thermal units. CSP plants can participate in peak load and frequency regulations timely and deeply, which improves the flexibility of the power system. Thus,CSP is a promising renewable energy generation technology. Based on the introduction on the operation principle and structure of a CSP plant, the advantages,disadvantages and research progress of various CSP technologies are analyzed. The problems and development direction of CSP technology are discussed based on the status quo and demand of CSP.

    Study on the status quo and development trend of grid-forming converter technology

    Due to the numerous electric and electrical devices and high-penetration new energy in a power system,the system's inertia tends to decrease and its strength and stability are hampered. In order to improve the stability of the system,a grid-forming converter technology which gives play to the flexibility and controllability of converters,compensates for the missing inherent inertia damping and provides reliable voltage and frequency support for the system is proposed.Based on the comparison between grid-forming control and gird-following control technologies,different network construction control strategies are analyzed. Then, the grid-forming high-pressure energy storage technology is introduced.The bottlenecks,challenges and feasible solutions of the technology are pointed out.The research results show that since the grid construction control technology can effectively improve the inertia damping,and provide the voltage and frequency support for the power system,it is promising in new power systems with high proportion of new energy and a large quantity of electronic equipment.

    Energy storage is a key supportive technology for the energy revolution. In the context of carbon neutrality, the fast-growing energy storage technology is playing an increasingly important role in energy industry. Existing energy storage technologies and their development statuses are expounded, focusing on their characteristics and differences. And the application scenarios and economy of these technologies are comprehensively compared. The key to battery researches is introducing new energy storage materials to solve its non-traditional electrochemical problems. Thermochemical energy storage is suitable for long-term storage due to its low energy consumption in reversible reactions, but attention should be paid to its cyclic dynamic characteristics, modeling and cost control. Pumped energy storage and compressed air storage technology are mature technologies, which are of high storage capacity and suitable for large-scale energy storage projects. However, the two technologies are limited by siting constraints, high cost of infrastructure construction and difference in operation and maintenance costs. Flywheel energy storage technology is suitable for the scenarios in need of frequent start-up and short energy release time, but how to the reduce energy loss in conversion is the challenge. Applications of hydrogen energy is restricted by difficulties in storage and transportation and its low energy conversion efficiency. The study can provide reference for relevant researches and policy formulation.

    Causes analysis and treatment of end shield oil leak in 500kV main transformer bushing

    A 500kV main transformer of a power plant found oil leak defect at its bushing end shield of the high voltage side during overhaul. Through analysis, it was confirmed that the reason for oil leak was ungrounded end shield. It introduced the replacement of high voltage bushing and partial discharge test in details. After replacement, it was found that the end shied ground column was damaged during the dielectric dissipation test of transformer through disassembly check and the grounded copper sleeve was jammed and could not bounce fully. Countermeasure was carried out according to the causes of the defect.

    The principle, layout, performance index and the engineering application of selective catalytic reduction (SCR), selective non catalytic reduction (SNCR) and SNCRSCR hybrid denitrification for coalfired power plant have been briefly presented. Comparing the three kinds of denitration technology comprehensively, three kinds of control system configuration schemes of denitrification are provided, which can provide reference for the choice of denitrification scheme and control mode.

    Since traditional control strategies cannot balance voltage disturbance level and total harmonic distortion(THD)of power grid,a DC bus voltage control strategy based on adaptive PI controller is proposed.The control objective of the strategy is to lower the harmonic distortion rate of the grid and the voltage disturbance simultaneously,and the strategy analyzes and executes by using a dynamic simplified model of current control loops.The proposed adaptive PI controller's proportional and integral gains are self-regulating,which can decrease the voltage fluctuation level and the THD of the grid while ensuring fast response.The results show that,compared with traditional control methods,the proposed control method can boost the anti-disturbance capacity of bus voltage and lower the THD in steady state.

    Experimental study on the effect of biological enzyme treatment on coal storage calorific value and coal pile temperature

    The coal storage of the power plant coal yards is huge, and the storage period is long. Reducing the loss of calorific value and spontaneous combustion of coal during storage period can improve the economic efficiency of power plants. Through spraying  biological enzymes on the coal pile of a coal yard, the data of effect of biological enzymes treatment on largescale coal pile calorific value and temperature is obtained.The results show that the biological enzyme treatment technology has a certain effect on reducing the loss of calorific value during the coal storage period.The temperature of the treated coal pile during storage period will rise, which is not conducive to reducing the spontaneous combustion of the coal pile.

    With the rapid development of industrial technology, various pollutants are discharged into the environment. Among them, heavy metals can hardly be degraded due to their richness, which causes great harm to the environment and human body. The relevant domestic and international research methods for removing heavy metal ions from waste water  are described, and the corresponding classical theoretical results  based on various removal methods are proposed. By describing the advantages and disadvantages of various methods, a new type of water treatment adsorption material with great development prospects is introduced, and its related progress in  heavy metal ion removal is summarized.

    Prevention and Control of Boiler ‘Four Pipe’ Leakage

    unplanned outage is one of important benchmarking content, and boiler ‘four pipe’ leakage is the main reason caused unplanned outage in thermal power plant at long time, which influences safety and stable operation of generation equipments seriously. In the 670t/h boiler of Tianjin Junliangcheng Power Generation Corporation Limited, the heating surface was arranged unreasonably, heating surface leakage was occurred frequently. Aiming at this problem, a special anti-explosion team was established, the boiler heating surface was supervised and checked during the boiler production, erection and operation. By continuous groping and improvement, a set of effective anti-abrasion, anti-explosion experiences were summarized. The application of these experiences reduces the leakage greatly, and unplanned outage was no occurred in 2006 and 2007.

    Intensive integration of information technology and energy technology is the development direction of energy industry at home and abroad. Based on modern communication technology and Internet technology,virtual power plants have broken through the geographical limitation through networks.The virtual plant integrates distributed renewable energy generation,energy storage,controllable load and other subsystems into a virtual entity to participate in transactions of the power market.And it provides capacity services and auxiliary services for the power grid,so as to improve the economy and reliability of the power system and facilitate the consumption and efficient utilization of renewable energy as well. The demonstration power plants in developed European countries and China were studied and compared from their key points, the core technologies and the practice effect.Consideration of the current situation and prospect of the energy industry in China,it is concluded that the technical route of European virtual power plants is more suitable for domestic power plants in the future,and reasonable suggestions for the key technologies and development direction of domestic virtual power plants are put forward .

    High-temperature molten salt heat storage is an effective solution for energy issues. Structure and design parameters of a molten salt-water heat exchanger play decisive roles in its performance. Software HTRI was taken in detailed design and selection on the molten salt-water heat exchanger with megawatt capacity. Manufacturing dimensions and rated performance parameters of the molten salt-water heat exchanger were achieved after data correction. Based on its design parameters, the exchanger's dynamic load, molten salt temperature at inlet and outlet, effective average temperature difference, steam temperature at outlet, design margin of heating area and heat transfer coefficient were simulated and calculated by controlling its water flow and molten salt flow. The calculation results show that the designed molten salt-water heat exchanger can complete 1 MW heat exchange,and its dynamic heat exchange performance is in line with the manufacturing dimensions of tube and shell heat exchangers. The reasonable design for the molten salt heat exchanger provides reliable reference for further research.

    Water electrolysis for hydrogen production powered by green energy such as PV and wind power is an important technical rout to realize the national energy strategy of carbon neutrality and carbon peaking. Nevertheless,the volatility of wind power and PV seriously affects the dynamic adaptability and operational reliability of the hydrogen production system based on water electrolysis. By expounding the characteristics of the hydrogen production technology powered by wind-PV complementary systems,and analyzing the mechanism and economy of this technology,an efficient and reliable technical rout of water electrolysis for hydrogen production powered by fluctuating wind power and PV is conceived,to extricate from the predicament in water electrolysis for hydrogen production. There are three key steps in the realization path, system configuration optimization, stable operation and service life extension. Targeting at the system service life management, the safe, reliable and economic operation of the water electrolysis system for hydrogen production powered by PV and wind power lays a favorable foundation for the development of wind-PV-hydrogen industry chain.

The propitiated proposal was selected. Postprocessed condensate water could be used as industrial water, and realized power plant water treatment system closetype circulating. There is not any water discharged. Waste water zero emission was realized.

    The correct selection and use of fan and pump are the important prerequisite for raising their efficiency. Taking fan as the example the similar operation relations of fan and pump are explained, the essential conditions which must be satisfied for similarity of fan and pump were proposed, and the inevitable results of the similarity were given. The variable frequency speed regulation has become the first scheme to be selected. According to the similarity law of fan and pump, in the process of reducing speed, the efficiency of the fan and pump will be kept at the same value, and its flow rate, pressure(or delivery head) and power are reduced in proportion to speed, speed square and speed cube respectively.

    Calculation of ice thickness of overhead transmission lines

    Through establishing icing thickness mechanical models for overhead transmission lines, the formula for calculating the ice thickness of lines and wire sag is derived. Using the formula, thickness of the ice coating of ±800kV Fufeng line in Hunan region was calculated. Comparing the calculating results with field test results, the calculation error was 9.02%. The model can be used to predict the thickness of wire ice coating in advance, and provides a preliminary warning for icing protection.
