Influence of line fault reclosing on transformer differential protection

Abstract

Abstract: The shortline fault was occurred in transformer No.0 of Wujiangdu Power Plant. After the fault was cleared, the line protection was reclosed into the fault point. The reason, which caused the transformer differential protection to act, was analyzed. The analysis shows that in certain reclose time, when the shortline fault occurred, the transformer differential protection could act in certain probability. The relevant solving measures were put forward.
